Supported exchanges and platforms
Hexaplan imports your closed trades from the exchanges below with a read-only API key or a public wallet address. You review every trade before it is added to your journal, and you can import a CSV from any other broker.
How exchange sync works
Create a read-only API key on your exchange and paste it into Hexaplan. Trade, transfer and withdraw permissions stay off. Your API secret is stored encrypted and is only used to read your trade history.
Hexaplan then shows the closed trades it found. You choose which ones to import, and nothing is written to your journal before you confirm. Trades you already imported, edited or deleted are left as they are.
Exchanges with API sync
Futures: Bybit, Binance, Bitget, OKX, Bitunix, BloFin, KuCoin, Hyperliquid, dYdX, MEXC, Gate and BingX. Spot: Kraken, Coinbase and Bybit.
Hyperliquid and dYdX need no API key: their trade history is public, so the address of your account is enough. Connectors marked Beta are new.
Other brokers and platforms
Trades from TradingView, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TopstepX, Rithmic R | Trader and Interactive Brokers are imported from the platform's own export file, MetaTrader HTML statements included. Fill-by-fill exports are grouped into trades with their partial entries, exits and fees. Files from any other broker work too: you match the columns to Hexaplan fields during the import.
Plans
Exchange sync and CSV import are part of Hexaplan Pro. Adding trades by hand is included in the Free plan.
FAQ
Is it safe to connect my exchange?
Hexaplan only asks for read-only access, so it cannot place trades or move funds. Your API secret is encrypted before it is stored. You can replace the key in Hexaplan at any time, or delete it on the exchange.
Do I need an API key for Hyperliquid or dYdX?
No. Their trade history is public, so Hexaplan only needs the address of the account you trade with. Nothing is signed and no key is stored.
How far back does sync go?
That depends on what each exchange's API returns: from about 90 days on some exchanges to two years on others. You can also choose a start date, so only trades from that day on are imported.
My exchange is not listed. Can I still use Hexaplan?
Yes. Export your closed trades as a CSV file from your broker and import that file, or add trades by hand.
